On Friday Keegan took his first trip to John Wayne with Tiphani to practice busy airport operations and flight planning.

Saturday morning was started off right as Dave and Tiphani took the chipmunk around the pattern for a bit. In the meantime, Jeff had met two new volunteers, Nico and Daniel, at the hangar and started teaching them how to change tires on the Luscombe, then the Chipmunk. The T-6 and the 150 were washed as well thanks to Nico, Daniel, Declan, Keegan, and Dave. Towards the end of the day, Tiphani had showed Daniel and Nico how to create an inspection panel for the Champ’s wings.

Sunday was exceptionally special as Jeff and Tiphani were able to fly with kids for An EAA Young Eagles Event. Jeff flew with three kids in the 150 and Tiphani flew three kids around in the Luscombe. Since the Luscombe does not have a starter, Bailey had volunteered to help hand prop for the day!

A big thank you to everyone that supports us in both big and small ways. We appreciate all of you so very much.
