Solos and firsts!
The last two weeks at the shop have been filled with work on the champ and lots of firsts.
Isaiah was able to fly for the first time ever, Justin took his first Chipmunk ride, Joanna made her first sheet metal part. Jeff solo'd the Stearman, and Bailey took up the 150 for the first time by himself. Tiphani also started learning to fly the T-6.
Plenty of maintenance was done on the 150, repairing exhausts and keeping it in impeccable condition. Lots of progress is being made on the champ. Floorboards are ready to go in and the fuselage is ready for paint. Wings are getting repaired next week. Tail control surfaces are now working on the champ and we have new brake cables! We may have picked out a paint scheme.
