L5s Are For Friends
Two week update!
Consistent progress has been made on the L5 project! Many thanks to our volunteers efforts getting the control surfaces covered, painted, and ready to install. The fuselage has been prepped for paint and will get painted this week. Lots of maintenance items ongoing in the fleet. The T6 baggage door has been repaired, oil changed on the 150, and the stearman had an ELT installed. A huge shout out goes to Michael Nightingale for programming a texting based application to keep track of volunteers hours! Weve had hundreds of hours logged just in the short time it's been active. Thank you Michael for your help!
Lots of flying going on with Laila, Zachariah, Jenae, Milton and Gerald getting primary and tailwheel instruction. You guys rock!!!!
