Restoration Work We Enjoy
Another successful weekend at the academy! Our volunteers continued work on the L5. With the rudder getting ready for new fabric, paint being applied to the trim pieces, and the wingtip repaired we should see this plane in flight in no time. Regular maintenance activities were performed on the 150, champ, chipmunk and T6. Cylinders were sent out for overhaul to keep spares for the fleet of 0-200 powered airplanes. A few people got their first shot at flying different tailwheel planes, the cub, T6, 150, and champ all went flying throughout the day.
Thank you everyone for your help, and as always check out calaeroacademy.org
