High Heat and High Spirits!
This past weekend was hot, but spirits were still high! On Thursday we had a small crew here to help finish iron down the L-5's control surfaces and start to spray them with the silver coating. Saturday morning started off with Dave getting his tailwheel endorsement and soloing the Chipmunk! As the morning was ramping up, we had polished the T-6 and started sanding some of the silver coat of the flight controls off of the L-5. As the day went on and the heat increased, we pulled out the Twin Bonanza and washed it off. Towards the end of the day Justin had showed a few people the inside of the Albatross. As usual we had a few airplanes go up during the day to continue teaching our aviators how to fly!
