Surprise, More Cherokee Work!
Don’t worry, we didn’t forget our other planes. We also changed a main tire on the Champ and we finally got new cylinder rings for the L-5 so those got installed ASAP. We changed the brakes and the tailwheel tire of the T-6 with the help of some friends from Planes of Fame. We changed even more tires, this time on the Cessna 150. We even showed our hangars some love, with Laila leading the cleaning crew. And, finally, we worked on the Cherokee. We continued ripping out the interior and we also removed all the corrosion. Combined with all the flying that we did it was a busy day for us. Jeff got his first ride in the front seat of the T-6. It’s an overwhelming plane to fly, but we have no doubt that Jeff will quickly master it. If this sounds like a fun Saturday to you we would love to meet you.
