Rainy Days and Tailwheels

Rainy days can’t keep us away from the airport here at Cal Aero Academy. There was work to do and nothing can stop us. We replaced Stearman’s brakes and removed the fireshield to begin work on the exhaust. The Champ got an oil change and we fixed its nav lights. And, finally, we cleaned the L-5’s cylinders.

It’s a good thing Michael got there early because he was able to get another solo in before the rain got too bad.

It’s also good that Craig got some tailwheel practice in because later that week he got his tailwheel endorsement! Thanks for everything you do for us, Craig, we’re grateful to have you out here. Thank you for all your hard work.

If tailwheel airplanes are something you’re interested in we’d love to teach you everything we can. Come join us on Saturday!
