It’s Our Birthday!
Cal Aero Academy turned one year old on December 28! So much has happened this year and we are all so happy to see how much this has grown in such a short time. We are also incredibly grateful to everyone that comes out and supports us in any way they can. Thank you so much, we couldn’t do it without you.
We celebrated last Saturday by doing some maintenance on the Champ. We fixed some oil leaks in the engine and then we cleaned the cowling and painted the baffles. Meanwhile, the T-6 was getting the pitot system worked on. We found out the airspeed indicator had a small leak so we replaced it and made it airworthy again. We also continued doing work on the L-5. We cleaned the cockpit area and put windows and weather stripping in.
Thanks again to everyone who has come out to hang out with us last year! We’d love to see you all out there next Saturday. Can’t wait to see what happens in our second year!
