Wing tanks are back in!
More progress was made on the champ this past weekend! The wing tips were painted yellow, we reinstalled a fuel tank after repairing a leak. We installed new windows and cleaned up the windscreen and install the exhaust back on the engine after some repairs. Progress was made on the chipmunk’s annual as we performed a compression check and cleaned the spark plugs. After receiving one of our engines back from inspection, it was prepped for anticorrosion and paint. As usual, we were flying throughout the day as well with Tiphani training in the T-6, Jeff flying the Stearman, Joanna going for her first flight lesson in the 150, and Keegan going flying at the end of the day in the 150.
