Saturday March 12

Phenomenal day at the hangar.

We had several groups of people working on projects, and of course in the afternoon we went flying! Thanks to Keegan Andrew and Jesse for cleaning out the luscombe and brightening it! Thanks to Declan and Joanna for helping treat corrosion. Declan also got to log his first lesson today with Tiphani! Many thanks to Johnson and Joanna for their help with the luscombe and providing photography support! At lunch time we arranged all the airplanes for a group photo. Jeff and Garren flew the stearman for a few laps in the pattern. Then we took the T-6s and the chipmunk up for a photo mission.
This week Tucker, Jeff and Tiphani also tore down our luscombe engine so it can be yellow tagged and reassembled.

We had people of all ages today from 8 to 78, thanks to all who visited and contributed, Keegan, Tiphani, Zack, Matt, Pat, Garren, Jeff, Jesse, Andrew, Declan, Johnson, Joanna, Christy, Brandon, Sam and Miles.

We appreciate everyones help in growing our organization, it wouldn't be possible without the continued support of our volunteers and sponsors. Many thanks to Ladd Gardner Insurance, Aerosport, and California Aerofab.

We are a nonprofit devoted to the next generation, as always check out our website at www.calaeroacademy.org to donate or apply to participate in our group! Also our social media for more photos and regular updates: Instagram
