L-4s, L-5s, and a OY-1/2
We had some very cool guests and volunteers from near and far @calaeroacademy recently. I want to give special shout out to Shae who came all the way down from Seattle to spend a whole week with us learning to do fabric and flying our planes, she got up at 5am every day just to go to the airport! Go Shae! It's exceptionally rewarding to see so many people young and old alike going flying and enjoying the airport. All of our volunteers have been putting in exceptional work lately with maintenance on all the planes, and new fabric going on the L-5 control surfaces. Many people got to go flying for the first time in several of our planes, with first flights and checkouts happening in the L-4 and champ all week. As a pilot, I've never landed a plane as slow as the L-4! We love our volunteers and our pilots, apply to participate or donate at calaeroacademy.org
